The existing chapel facilities were upgraded into purpose built mortuary accommodation, using the skills of the residual craftsmen who stll made bespoke coffins by hand. The creation of a sophisticated records and administration system was a particularly far sighted action, designed to begin the process of managing increasingly complex funeral arrangements. While having expanded these systems in recent decades, the heritage of detailed, accurate and comprehensive systems has enabled Gore Brothers Ltd to continue to offer a very wide variety of events tailored to the needs of the many families who call upon them in their hour of need.
